According to a news release, Animoca Brands has named Jared Shaw as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Shaw comes to the Hong Kong-based company from bitcoin exchange Gemini, where he was the head of finance. This comes after Animoca secured $110 million on a reported valuation of $5.9 billion in a funding round headed by Temasek on September 12.
