Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates and a legendary investor, sees Bitcoin as a “tiny thing” that is unstable and receives “disproportionate attention.” The investor compared Bitcoin’s value to Microsoft’s (the cryptocurrency is worth less than a third of what the tech giant is worth) and added that the coin has “no relation to anything.” The latest comment comes at a time when the market is outperforming the bearish year of 2022. In fact, he has discussed cryptocurrencies on numerous occasions and podcasts. Dalio even appeared on the “Investors Podcast” on January 1, 2022, where he discussed Bitcoin as an inflation hedge and the fact that the BTC network has never been hacked.
