The crypto exchange Binance.US has seen two more top executives quit, following the exit of its CEO Brian Shroder amid growing pressure from regulators.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the company’s Head of Legal Krishna Juvvadi and Chief Risk Officer Sidney Majalya are leaving their roles, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Juvvadi joined the company in May last year, while Majalya was hired in December 2021. Their departures come after Binance.US announced that its CEO Brian Shroder had left the company and that it had cut its workforce by one-third.
Binance is having a hard year as regulators have been tightening their grip on crypto exchanges, especially in the U.S.
The Securities and Exchange Commission sued the company in June for allegedly breaking securities laws, adding to the allegations from another U.S. regulator, CFTC.
