Bitcoin is finishing the month with its greatest month since a 40% rise in October 2021, and its best January since 2013. Bitcoin (BTC-USD) is currently trading at its highest level since August of last year, changing hands at $22,910. The largest cryptocurrency hasn’t had a more upbeat January in a decade. Between January 10 and 20, when bitcoin experienced its highest gains, speculation-driven momentum traders returned to the market, propelling bitcoin out of a range of $15,700 to $18,000.
