BitFuFu, a cloud mining firm, has delayed its public listing via a special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC) until May because interest in the sector remains low. The company, which is a subsidiary of Bitmain, announced plans to go public in January 2022 by merging with Arisz Acquisition Corp. (ARIZ). According to a Tuesday press release, it has now exercised its right to postpone the merger by three months, with May 22, 2023 as the new deadline for completion. BitFuFu will be unable to postpone the merger again unless Arisz’s governing documents are changed.
