The Central Bank of Brazil has granted Crypto.com a Payment Institution License, the crypto exchange announced on Thursday. The licence allows the company to continue providing regulated fiat wallet services in the country, where the Crypto.com Visa card is currently available until 2021. “Brazil and the entire Latin American market are significant regions in the pursuit of our vision of cryptocurrency in every wallet,” said Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek in a statement. “Latin America is a major driver in crypto adoption, and regulators have also played a key role in fostering this,” said Marcos Jarne, general manager and head of legal for Latin America at Crypto.com.
