Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange, has reopened after being offline for more than seven hours due to scheduled maintenance, the company announced. Gemini announced in November that withdrawals for its yield product would be delayed due to the suspension of withdrawals by its partner Genesis Global. “The Gemini Spaceship will undergo scheduled Exchange maintenance on Thursday, December 15th from approximately 10:00 pm until Friday, December 16th at 12:30am ET,” according to a notice on the exchange’s status page, and all user interfaces and trading will be unavailable during that time. However, the exchange has repeatedly delayed the resumption of services since then, with the services being down for nearly 7.5 hours. The cryptocurrency exchange stated that its services were restored at 10:30 a.m. UTC.
