Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. acknowledged earlier this year that he purchased a considerable quantity of Bitcoin, buying two BTC for each of his seven children.
Kennedy stated in a July 26 Twitter Space that he took the decision after receiving “a lot of criticism” from crypto industry pundits and the mainstream press following his pro-Bitcoin comments at the Bitcoin Miami Conference in May.
Kennedy claimed he was chastised for advertising a “volatile commodity” despite having no stake in the game.
