The Almaty-based Eurasian Bank and the Kazakhstan-based crypto exchange Intebix have joined forces to carry out what they claim is the country’s first such joint transaction for cryptocurrency acquisition. This comes as Kazakhstan’s leadership has stated its intention to expand crypto exchange in the country’s financial center. These companies claimed to have completed the country’s first crypto-related transaction, which involved a digital asset trading platform, a banking institution, and a consumer. The transaction, in which bitcoin was purchased with local cash, was announced during the Digital Bridge 2022 forum.
