Crypto investors in the United States have filed a class-action lawsuit against FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and a slew of paid celebrity promoters, including NFL quarterback Tom Brady, comedian Larry David, tennis player Naomi Osaka, and NBA team the Golden State Warriors, for fraudulently promoting FTX yield-bearing accounts (YBAs). Edwin Garrison, an Oklahoma resident and FTX YBA holder, filed the suit in Miami on Tuesday on behalf of other account holders. Among those who filed on Garrison’s behalf were famed attorney David Boies, Coral Gables, Florida-based Adam Moskowitz, and Miami-based Stephen Neal Zack.
