An ongoing feud between Gemini co-founder and President Cameron Winklevoss and Digital Currency Group (DCG) CEO Barry Silbert erupted Tuesday morning, after Winklevoss accused Silbert and others at the company of “conspire[ing] to make false statements and misrepresentations to Gemini” in an open letter to the company. “As long as Barry Silbert is CEO of DCG, there is no way forward,” Winklevoss said. “Gemini, on behalf of 340,000 Earn users, requests that the board immediately remove Barry Silbert as CEO and instal a new CEO who will right the wrongs that occurred under Barry’s watch.” Though Genesis has not yet filed for bankruptcy, Gemini has hired legal and financial advisors and formed a major creditors committee.
