HashKey Capital Limited, a Hong Kong-based investment management firm, on Tuesday said that it would now be able to manage 100% cryptocurrency portfolios after getting approval from the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong. The approval given to HashKey was a ‘Type 9 asset management license’. HashKey joins Huobi and MaiCapital Limited as one of the very few licensed digital asset managers in Hong Kong. This comes just after HashKey raised $360 million earlier this year for a new blockchain fund.
