Horizon Blockchain Games announced a $40 million investment as it expands its Sequence developer platform, Niftyswap digital-asset marketplace, and Skyweaver virtual trading card game. Brevan Howard Digital and Morgan Creek Digital led the Series A fundraising round, with Ubisoft Entertainment SA and Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. also participating. Deborah Marfurt, the company’s chief financial officer, declined to divulge the valuation but said in an interview that it was larger than in the previous investment round last year.
