Variant, a crypto-focused investment firm, sponsored a $18.5 million seed funding round for Hyperlane, a platform that allows developers integrate apps across blockchains. According to Hyperlane co-founder Jon Kol in an email, the cash will be utilised for employment, product development, and security, which includes bug bounties and further audits. Galaxy Digital, CoinFund, Circle, Figment, Blockdaemon, Kraken Ventures, and NFX are among the other participants in the round.
