According to a Bloomberg story on Wednesday, JPMorgan (JPM) has appointed Aaron Iovine as its director of crypto regulatory policy, a newly established position. Given the unpredictable market conditions in recent months, including a drop in cryptocurrency valuations and the insolvency of multiple organizations, the US investment banking behemoth intends to broaden its digital asset regulation jurisdiction. Iovine worked as the head of policy and regulatory affairs for cryptocurrency lender Celsius, which declared bankruptcy in July. According to his LinkedIn page, Iovine held this position from February to September of this year.
