Kraken, a cryptocurrency exchange, claimed it was investigating an issue with various crypto financing gateways, including significant ones like Bitcoin, Ether, and ERC-20, which caused operating delays.
On June 6, Kraken’s status website stated, “Deposits and withdrawals are currently delayed.” We will provide any updates as quickly as feasible.”
The first alert was posted around 7:44 a.m. UTC, when deposits and withdrawals were delayed. This was followed by two updates at 8:06 and 8:13 a.m. UTC stating that the company is still “working on a fix” for the problem, a CoinTelegraph report stated.
The status page did not explain what was causing the problem.
As of 8:35 a.m. UTC, the status page was reverted to normal, with any updates about the delays and issues gone, the report added.
