According to new poll results released Wednesday, a majority of US voters believe that lawmakers should tighten up crypto regulation. According to a national poll conducted by the Crypto Council for Innovation in October, 52% of the 1,200 voters polled want the industry to be more regulated, while only 7% believe it should be less regulated. The remaining 41% were evenly divided between believing the industry was already sufficiently regulated and not having an opinion. The majority of voters (58%) want lawmakers to prioritise market stability and fraud detection when developing crypto regulations.
