Anthony Scaramucci announced that he is investing in a company founded by Brett Harrison, the former president of the defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX US. Scaramucci said in an email that he will fund the venture with his own money to show his support for Harrison. According to Bloomberg News, Harrison was looking for funding for a crypto software company with a valuation of up to $100 million. According to two people familiar with the matter at the time, the proposed idea was for software that crypto traders could use to write algorithms for their strategies and access different types of crypto markets, both centralised and decentralised.
