Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn are investigating transfers between Digital Currency Group Inc. and an embattled subsidiary that provides crypto lending services, according to the people, who declined to be identified because the investigation has not been made public. They’re also looking into what those transactions were told to investors. One of the sources told Bloomberg News that, prosecutors have begun to request interviews and documents. According to another source, the Securities and Exchange Commission is also conducting an investigation. The investigations are still in their early stages, and neither Silbert, Digital Currency Group, nor any of its subsidiaries have been charged with any wrongdoing.
