Tron (TRX) founder Justin Sun stated on January 29 that his goal for the new year is to have the TRX digital asset recognised as legal tender in five countries. Adoption of the asset in five countries, according to Sun, could spur global cryptocurrency adoption. He stated that the goal is “ambitious,” but it is attainable through hard work and dedication. Meanwhile, in a separate tweet on January 28, Justin Sun stated that a major country would soon legalise TRX as legal tender. The move, according to Sun, will allow crypto tokens in its ecosystem to be “recognised by the government as a valid form of payment for goods and services.”
