The US House Financial Services Committee has announced a hearing to investigate the events surrounding the collapse of crypto exchange FTX. Maxine Waters, chair of the House Financial Services Committee, announced on November 28 that a hearing to investigate the collapse of FTX had been scheduled for December 13. The hearing, which was announced on Nov. 16 but not scheduled, was expected to be “Part I” of a series of hearings on the impact of a major crypto exchange declaring bankruptcy.
