Wilshire, a private investment management firm, has partnered with crypto trading firm FalconX to provide institutional clients with digital asset indexes. Wilshire said Tuesday that the two companies will collaborate on a set of single-coin, multicoin, and thematic indexes for institutional investors with access to the crypto derivatives market. FalconX and Wilshire both believe that the ultimate value in digital assets will be as a gateway to the tokenization of other assets. FalconX intends to address market fragmentation, price discovery, and untrustworthy market data. In order to improve visibility and liquidity access, it introduced a risk-management platform with cross-margin capabilities in October of last year.
