Wyre, a cryptocurrency payments company, is reportedly shutting down operations by the end of January, amid the broader crypto market downturn caused by FTX’s demise. According to two unnamed employees, Wyre is closing down, with one adding that CEO Ioannis Giannaros emailed a portion of the staff during the holidays about plans to liquidate the company and terminate services by the end of the month. According to the unnamed source, the company has yet to offer a severance package, causing widespread concern among employees.
