Polygon, a firm that helps Ethereum scale, has launched a toolkit for developers to create their own blockchains powered by zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs.
The toolkit, called the Chain Development Kit (CDK), is an open-source codebase that allows developers to customize their layer 2 chains using Polygon’s ZK technology.
These chains will be linked by a bridge that uses ZK proofs, enabling interoperability among them, Polygon said in a press release.
Polygon calls this network of chains the “Value Layer.”
