Giottus, a leading crypto investment platform in India, has joined the Alliance of Reporting Entities for AML/CFT (ARIFAC).
This strategic move shows Giottus’s dedication to compliance, anti-money laundering, and combating financial terrorism (AML/CFT) and also positions it as a key influencer in shaping the regulatory framework of the virtual digital assets (VDA) industry, according to a statement from the company.
ARIFAC is a group of reporting entities from various sectors, such as banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), and payment aggregators, as well as the FIU.
By becoming a member of ARIFAC, Giottus enters a community that aims to ensure compliance with rules and regulations and foster information sharing and knowledge exchange.
Giottus is already a reporting entity under the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-India), which is part of the Union Ministry of Finance, and actively participates in the India Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C).
