On Tuesday, a hacker attacked CoinEx Global, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Hong Kong, and stole about US$43 million worth of digital currencies.

The exchange said it is still investigating how much crypto assets were lost in the breach, but it found a second batch of suspicious wallet addresses that drained tokens such as Ether, XRP, Solana, Kadena and Dagger.
Earlier, CoinEx had identified another group of addresses that took Ether, Bitcoin and Tron from the platform.
PeckShield, a Blockchain security firm, estimated the exchange’s loss to be around US$43 million on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.
