Lightning Labs, a Bitcoin Lightning Network development startup, has introduced a new set of artificial intelligence capabilities for sending and receiving BTC on the network’s layer-2 solution.
On July 6, Lightning Labs launched the toolkit, which allows AI applications like OpenAI’s ChatGPT to connect with the Bitcoin network in order to send, receive, and keep bitcoin.
The change is intended to assist AI developers make payments faster, cheaper, and easier by allowing them to avoid traditional and frequently prohibitive payment rails while simultaneously enabling pay-per-use AI models on Lightning.
