The Bank of Russia (BoR) has published the official logo for Russia’s central bank digital currency (CBDC).
The commission fee rates have also been disclosed by the central bank. The BoR unveiled the corporate identity of its digital currency, the digital ruble, on August 3.
The logo, an international ruble symbol in a circle, is available in four basic colour combinations: red and white, black and white, and blue and white.
The BoR also presented the commission fees for certain CBDC operations.
All services will be free until the end of 2024, but beginning in 2025, business-to-business transactions will cost 15 rubles ($0.16), while individuals will pay 0.3% of the total transaction value when transferring to commercial accounts and 0.2% when paying for civic services.
