BitKeep, a cryptocurrency wallet, was hacked for over $1 million in BNB Chain and Polygon-based tokens during the early Asian hours of Tuesday, according to developers. BitKeep claims to have over six million users and supports coins from over 30 blockchain networks including Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and BNB Chain. The wallet’s Swap product was compromised early Tuesday. BitKeep has stated that it will establish a compensation portal within three business days for all victims to apply for a reimbursement. The team also stated that it was in contact with various security agencies in an endeavor to apprehend the perpetrators of the crime.
