These products were essential tools for Ethereum smart contract developers in the early days of the network.
Many developers expressed their gratitude and nostalgia for the Truffle Suite, which was launched in 2015 and acquired by Consensys in 2020.
At the time of the acquisition, Consensys claimed that 1.3 million developers worldwide used the Truffle Suite.
To help developers migrate to the new tech stack, Consensys partnered with HardHat, a popular development environment for Ethereum.
Consensys explained in another blog post how developers can use HardHat to write and deploy new software on the Ethereum network.
