MicroStrategy (MSTR) is recruiting a software developer to help construct a Lightning Network-based SaaS platform. According to the job posting, the Lightning Network software would provide firms with security and e-commerce solutions. The Lightning Network is a layer 2 scaling solution for Bitcoin that is intended to accelerate the speed with which payments are sent and received. MicroStrategy is one of the top bitcoin holders, having purchased 130,000 coins ($2.45 billion) since launching its bitcoin strategy in 2020. A new hire will also be entrusted with developing decentralized finance (DeFi) technology, according to the job description.
