According to a onchain indicator, litecoin (LTC), the 12th largest cryptocurrency by market value, is selling at a discount.
At the time of publication, Litecoin’s market value to realised value (MVRV) Z-score was negative. According to analytics firm Glassnode, a sub-zero score implies that the cryptocurrency is undervalued relative to its true value. The market capitalization is determined by multiplying the total number of coins in circulation by the going market rate per litecoin. The realised value is a market cap variant that adds the market worth of coins at the time they were last changed on the blockchain. It is said to reflect the network’s real or fair worth because it excludes all coins lost from circulation (greater than 15%).
