The popularity and value of Donald Trump’s NFT collections soared on Thursday after a viral interview with Tucker Carlson on X, the successor of Twitter.The interview attracted 110 million views in just a few hours after it was broadcasted.
Trump Digital Trading Cards, a collection of 45,000 fantasy cards featuring Trump in various poses and outfits, saw a significant increase in price and volume.
The cards, which run on the Polygon network, were trading for more than $215 each, up from $150 last week, according to OpenSea data.
The collection, which was launched last December for $99 per card, has over 13,000 unique owners and has generated over 17 ether in sales.
Buyers of the cards also have a chance to win “experiences” with Trump, such as a Zoom call, a dinner in Miami, or a cocktail hour at Mar-a-Lago.
