Y00ts, a non-fungible token (NFT) collection that was formerly among the top projects on Solana, has stated that it will be leaving Polygon and returning the $3 million grant it got earlier this year from the Ethereum layer 2.
Rather, y00ts announced plans to migrate to Ethereum in order to “unite the DeGods and y00ts communities.” DeGods, another Los Angeles-based startup’s initiative, moved to Ethereum in April.
Y00ts stated that the migration date would be disclosed “shortly.” Along with the migration news, DeGods announced the imminent release of a Season III collection.
Y00ts completed their shift to Polygon early this year and intended to use the grant funds to fund team expansion and other expenses.
