According to a Bloomberg report on Wednesday, ZA Bank, Hong Kong’s largest online-only bank, has begun offering cryptocurrency conversion services through licenced crypto exchanges. ZA Bank is working with HashKey and OSL – the only two licenced crypto exchanges based in Hong Kong – to allow users to withdraw crypto deposits in U.S. dollars, Hong Kong dollars and Chinese yuan, ZA Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Ronald Iu told Bloomberg. He stated that more exchanges would be added once they were licenced in Hong Kong. According to Iu, users from mainland China are unable to access this service due to the country’s ban on cryptocurrency trading.
