Bali Governor Wayan Koster stated at a tourism development press conference on Sunday that visitors who purchase with cryptocurrency or violate other laws may be deported, face criminal charges, or face harsh sanctions. “Foreign tourists who behave inappropriately, engage in activities prohibited by their visa permit, use cryptocurrency as a means of payment, or violate other provisions will face harsh consequences,” the leader of the Indonesian island province said, according to Channel News Asia.
