Binance, a platform for trading cryptocurrencies, announced a generous gesture for the victims of the recent earthquake in Morocco.
The company will distribute $3 million worth of its own digital currency, BNB, to the residents of Marrakesh-Safi province, where the quake hit.
Those who had already verified their address before Sept. 9 will get $100 in BNB each, while those who do it later will get $25 in BNB.
The company expects to reach about 70,000 people with this aid, which will be credited to their accounts starting from today.
BNB is the fuel of the BNB Chain network, and its price is stable at around $209, according to CoinGecko.
