On Sept. 4, cryptocurrency casino Stake suffered a $41 million hack by a group of cybercriminals who managed to access its hot wallets on Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum.
Since then, the hackers have been moving some of the stolen funds to different blockchains, according to blockchain security firms CertiK and Arkham.
The latest transfers occurred on Sept. 11, when the hackers sent 300 BNB tokens (worth about $61,500) and 520,000 MATIC tokens (worth over $266,000) to the Avalanche blockchain.
We are seeing a further movement of funds from the Stake exploiter.
520k MATIC was swapped and bridged to Avalanche before being bridged to BTC as per other fund movements from the exploiter.

These two transfers amounted to $328,000, which added to the $4.5 million in BTC that were bridged to the Bitcoin blockchain on Sept. 7.
The total value of the transferred funds is $4.8 million, which is only 1.2% of the total amount that was hacked from Stake.
The FBI suspects that the notorious Lazarus Group from North Korea is behind the exploit.
