According to a Friday announcement, the Montenegrin court investigating Terra founder Do Kwon’s passport falsification case has accepted his 400,000 euro ($428,000) bail request after a higher court overturned a prior approval. Kwon and former Terra executive Han Chang-joon were arrested in Montenegro in March for allegedly attempting to travel using forged documents. South Korean authorities had been looking for Kwon since his multibillion-dollar cryptocurrency venture went bankrupt in May of last year. Both South Korea and the United States have requested Kwon’s extradition to face criminal charges following his trial in Montenegro.
